Meet the band

Grooveköket is a Swedish instrumental jazz-rock band from Lund. Core members are Malte Thelin Bergkvist on keys, Ivar Häggström on electric guitar, Konrad Sjöstrand on bass and Ivan Apell on the drums. The bandmates all met during high school. On the fall of 2023, they decided to join heads and try to create something new. Grooveköket aims to bring new life in the jazz-rock instrumental scene. Melodic and sweet, yet powerful songs that often ascend in intensity, they carry inspiration from Snarky Puppy, Chris Potter and many others.
